My first subjects

Well you know how it goes, you ask people to show up and they don’t.  However that’s ok because life happens.   That’s why there always has to be a plan B.  After my shoot on Sunday I reached out and utilized all of the resources I could even think of, Facebook, Craigslist & friends.  People have been very responsive and hopefully my Saturday and Sunday shoots go well and are on schedule.  I am so proud of the photo frame and stand that I made.  I went through hell to make it but it great to actually see my concept come to life.  The next step that I need to take is printing.

Yep, that’s how it goes! Think about how you can motivate both the intellectual and the emotional side of your potential subjects. For example, for the left-brain, tell them that you have been sponsored by the school (they sent you to a conference–make sure you talk to Dwayne about reimbursement) in an effort to… (fill in the blank). Or, give the left-brain a copy of a photo (or let them bring their Sunday Best). Something that they can use in their own professional lives. And for the right brain, make the photo shoot (or shoots) something fun. A game, a prize, …
Are those red frames? If you had told me red (which you might have and I have forgotten), I sadly would have discouraged it… but this looks great! The high chroma red is acting as a neutral!
